WELCOME...

You've found the web page of the Halifax Rifles. We pride ourselves on running one of the best army cadet programs in Nova Scotia, and the best part is- it's FREE! All youth aged 12-18 are encouraged to join our program and experience life as a Halifax Rifles cadet.

Our training includes leadership, marksmanship, drill, orienteering, band, sports, fieldcraft, biathlon and much more. There really is something for everyone. Cadets provides youth with opportunities that no other program can offer. From attending your first weekend exercise to qualifying for the Canadian Armed Forces Basic Parachute Course. Challenge, adventure and teamwork are the foundations of our program.

You'll find the leaders of tomorrow, here today.

This website will hopefully answer all of your questions and act as a continuous source of information to refer to as you go through the cadet program.

We look forward to meeting you,

          - Halifax Rifles Cadet Corps Staff
